Yes, in small amounts, as long as it is plain. Plain Greek yogurt suits most dogs best because it is lower in lactose. Flavoured pots add sugar, and anything labelled sugar-free can contain xylitol, which is severely toxic to dogs. Many adult dogs digest dairy badly, so start with a teaspoon.

Yogurt is one of the more defensible dairy shares, because straining and fermentation remove some of the lactose that makes milk a problem. Plain Greek yogurt removes the most, which is why it is the version this page keeps coming back to.

Plain Greek yogurt
If you share yogurt at all, this is the one. Straining removes whey, which takes lactose with it and concentrates the protein, so a plain Greek pot carries roughly 10g of protein per 100g with no added sugar.
Full-fat or low-fat matters less than plain. Check the ingredients list reads milk and cultures, and nothing else.
Flavoured, fruit and sugar-free yogurts
Flavoured pots are sugar delivery. A typical 125g fruit yogurt carries 15g or more of sugar, which is dessert, not a health food, for a dog.
Sugar-free is the firm no. Some sugar-free and diet products are sweetened with xylitol, which the Pet Poison Helpline warns can cause life-threatening low blood sugar within 10 to 15 minutes, then liver failure. If the label says sugar-free, sweetener, or xylitol, the pot never reaches the dog.
Lactose intolerance in adult dogs
